A woman becomes a complete
woman when pregnant. Pregnancy is a unique feature in a woman life when
a new life is created within her and no joy of world can be greater
that the joy of becoming a mother. However, young women find it very
confusing in trying to figure out whether they are pregnant or not.
Early signs of pregnancy are very often confused with other illness but
some of the symptoms are specific to pregnancy and are used to confirm
pregnancy on its very onset.
The most common symptom of pregnancy is a missed period. Confusion
arises as a missed period can be due to a variety of factors like
stress, change in weight, illness etc. Some times stopping some oral
contraceptive pills or a polycystic ovary syndrome can also result in a
missed period.
Another visible symptom is changes that occur in the size and feel of
breasts. The breasts become enlarged and tenderness sets in, however,
the symptom disappears quite shortly. Women also experience a tingling
sensation during this period. The color of areola starts darkening and
remains darkened during the entire pregnancy period and are one of the
surest symptoms of pregnancy.
Morning sickness mostly in the form of nausea and vomiting are also an
early signs of pregnancy. These occur as early after two weeks of
conceptions and usually disappear in the third month of pregnancy.
Women start feeling uneasy about food and experience uncontrollable
craving for certain food very often.
Fatigue is yet another symptom of early pregnancy. Most women
experience fatigue but fatigue being result of many other factors
cannot be considered to be sure shot factor indicating pregnancy.
Women also experience frequent urination also indicates conception and
indicates pregnancy. The frequent urination is a result of higher level
of progesterone and the growing uterus which puts pressure on the
urinary bladder. Some women also experience constipation which usually
can be avoided by having a high fiber diet.
Some of the symptoms remain over the period of pregnancy with some
symptoms disappearing after three months of pregnancy. Signs
of pregnancy are visible to experienced eyes and women who have
undergone a pregnancy once. The early sign of pregnancy are
just signals from your body. You must learn to listen to your body by
deciphering the signals sent by your body in the most meaningful way so
that you are not confused as to what the body wants to say.
